Mission Statement

We have formed the Friends of Williams Track & Field, to be comprised of parents, alumni, and other interested parties who would like to stay informed of matters, events, and happenings concerning the Williams Track and Field team.  This group will advocate and support the team and its traditions within the Williams College community.  As a Friends group, we are not an official body or club within the college, but a group of concerned individuals hoping to preserve the excellent tradition and ensure the future success of Williams Track and Field.  We wish to build connections between the present student-athletes, and the long tradition of those who have gone before.  We honor the pursuit of excellence in academics, athletics, and service that has characterized our team for generations.  We will strive to sustain visibility of the team within the Williams College community, and act to support its fine reputation at all levels, in support of and accordance with the stated ideals of Williams College.
