The Friends of Williams Track & Field are comprised of parents, alumni, and other interested parties who would like to be informed of events and happenings concerning the team. By its presence alone, this group also will advocate and support the team within the Williams College community.
As a Friends group, we are not an official body or club within the college, but a group of concerned individuals hoping to preserve the excellent tradition and ensure the future success of Williams Track and Field. We wish to build connections between the present student-athletes, and the long tradition of those who have gone before. With 106 fine young men and women on the team this year, and nearly 1100 alumni who have built the tradition before them, we intend to bring visibility to this fine group within the Williams College community. We want to bring the respect and regard this team holds nationally back to its home.
